1. About Chunks
Chunks is a web application for learning languages through lexical chunks — ready-made phrases and collocations. It uses AI-powered feedback and spaced repetition to help users build fluency.
Chunks is operated by Nikita Kovalchuk.
2. Beta & Pricing
Chunks is currently free to use during its beta period. We may introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future. We will provide reasonable notice before any charges apply.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Chunks, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Chunks, including attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, automate access to, or abuse the service or its AI systems. You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.
5. AI-Generated Content
Chunks uses AI to generate translation feedback, explanations, and example sentences. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccurate information and is provided for educational purposes only. Users should review and verify any generated content before relying on it. Chunks does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.
6. Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Chunks at any time if these Terms are violated or if we reasonably believe the service is being abused.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Chunks after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
8. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability
Chunks is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chunks and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of the service.
